Major League Baseball Should Have an Asian Heritage Month
Jesse Alkire

I love this.

My favorite baseball player growing up was Chan Ho Park, a Korean pitcher for the Dodgers and the Albuquerque Dukes, the Dodgers Triple A affiliate. I grew up in Albuquerque and when Park was playing for the Dukes I would go to the games and wait for his signature after his pitching practice.

There were (and still are) very few Asian/Korean athletes for kids to look up to, but having representation even in sports jerseys would be amazing. The NBA has been doing this in some markets and it seems like a natural progression to the MLB.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
