Yes, capital investments in the arts would hardly be appealing if we simply allowed moneyed corporate interests to exploit artists, writers, photographers and composers’ work without any compensation whatsoever…oh, wait, that’s precisely what we’ve been doing since everything became a digital file that can be instantaneously transferred to and from anywhere to the point of ubiquity and utterly friction-free. I’m sure Aphabet and Google appreciate your support, but the writing’s on the wall and history is coming for them, next; you just hide and watch. They’re the neighborhood bully, and they’re about to meet their comeuppance.
