Among Molecular Future’s advisory board, are a number of experienced individuals, with skills spanning across multiple fields. Not only do they provide their expertise, but can connect Molecular Future with other people and companies in the field.
Steve Lau is advising Molecular Future’s business development, having had over 2 decades of experience in the business world. He founded the Changyuan Group in 1993, which, under his leadership, became Nokia’s first exclusive distributor in China and put him on the Hurun Rich List’s top 500. As of 2017 he has invested in more than 300 start-ups within the internet and high-tech industries.
John Ho is Molecular Future’s technical advisor, has a vast array of experience in the worlds of venture capital and asset management, and currently serves as a partner at the Cloud Brain Fund, having formally worked as the Global Vice President and General Manager (China) of VeriSign (NASDAQ:VRSN). He has also served in executive roles at Groupon, and AsiaInfo (NASDAQ: GRPN, ASIA), and helped design and implement internet network connections in all provinces of China, in addition to managing more than 14 million top-level domains in the Greater China region.
Ryan Xu is Molecular Future’s development advisor, Co-founder of BTCS Australia (NASDAQ: BTCS), co-founder of Block Chain Global — which owns Australia’s largest digital asset trading platform, ACX, and is the largest shareholder of the first publicly listed Blockchain company, Digital CC (ASX: DCC). His scope of business coverage includes Blockchain strategy consulting, Blockchain cloud computing, Blockchain asset transactions, Blockchain project incubation, and other related fields. Ryan is also the founder of Australia’s Collinstar Capital — which a government approved Blockchain venture investment fund license and invests within a wide variety of projects within the Blockchain ecosystem. As the lead underwriter of some of the world’s most prominent ICO projects, Collinstar has been influential in the launching of many star projects.
Dr. Hou is Molecular Future’s Financial Advisor. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of New South Wales, then went on to complete a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and finally completed his Doctorate of Management at Nanjing University in China. With experience as the vice president of Credit Suisse, Dr. Hou is an asset to the firm.
Cao Yin is Molecular Future’s Chief Blockchain Expert, having experience in the field as the Founding Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of ‘Energy Blockchain Lab’ — the world’s first company focused on creating a carbon management platform for Blockchain technology. Additionally, Mr. Cao holds a position as the Chief Blockchain Expert at ‘Blockchain of China Cinda Security’ — the investment banking division of ‘China Cinda Group’, China’s biggest financial asset management company. Mr. Cao is a well known keynote speaker at various energy, climate change, Blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences, both domestically and internationally. His views have been published in numerous industry-leading business media outlets, covering topics related to the future of energy, the carbon market, green finance, Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and many more.
Barry Li has degrees in Economics, and Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and is the chairman of XBTING Foundation. Barry is an entrepreneur, mainly focusing on Blockchain project investments, having participated in several successful projects since 2013. In 2016, he successfully raised funds from angel investors, and set up the XBTING Foundation, which mainly focuses on arbitraging, hedging, equity investments, and project incubation. In 2017, the foundation cooperated with a number of venture capital institutions to jointly set up a Blockchain investment fund.
