Everton award Goal of the Month to nine year-old cerebral palsy sufferer George Shaw

Nine year old, George Shaw, who has cerebral palsy, has been awarded Goal of the Month by Everton FC.

The little blue scored during half time at the Swansea game.

The video footage of him scoring the goal has been seen across the news in the past week and it has certainly pulled on people’s heart strings.

The youngster’s goal topped those of Ross Barkley, Aaron Lennon and Kevin Mirallas.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has said that George has taught the club ‘a real life lesson.’

Undoubtedly, his positivity and ‘go getter’ attitude has inspired not only the football world but the nation.
