Help me find Rufus a forever home!

Back in early February, I found and took in a stray dog that had been roaming my neighborhood for weeks. His name is Rufus, and I would love your help in finding this sweet boy a great forever home.

Rufus is no ordinary little fella. He stole my heart fast with his sweet demeanor, ability to trust me even when he was so scared, and his endless love for Anakin. He’s still wary of most humans, and has a long way to go before he’ll fully trust people, but he’s come incredibly far in the last couple of months.

Here is some info about him:

-He’s a German Shepherd + Husky mix, with one bright blue eye and half blue, half brown eye. He’s stunning.

-He’s about 10 months old, and I’ve had him vaccinated and neutered.

-He’s about 65 pounds and healthy as can be.

-He absolutely loves other dogs and desperately wants my cat to love him, but she’s mean to everyone.

Ideally his new home will be with someone that’s home more often than I am. He understandably has some separation anxiety. I think he’d be wonderful with kids…this dog is such a sweet lover and has shown zero signs of any aggression. He’d also be great with other dogs/animals (he’s definitely more comfortable in a “pack”). He must have a tall fence if left unattended — he can jump high. If no fence, that’s cool too as long as someone can walk him regularly.
