It Cost a Fortune to Learn How to Drive at 30, But it Cost Even More After I Started Driving
Dan hughes

Oh gosh, horrors! Great piece. I’ve been driving since I was 16, but last year I had to go through the entire licensing process in NYC because I irresponsibly lost my out-of-state license and couldn’t get it renewed and transferred (long, frustrating story). I was shocked at how expensive and stressful it was even though I was (a) already a driver and (b) not even looking to get a car anytime soon. So yes, definitely recommend learning to drive as a teen if you can AND ALSO being careful about maintaining your license!
