One word that describes how you work: Thoroughly

What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Why?

  1. Google Apps- I use google drive to look at and edit documents , I use google maps to figure out which bus to take, and google calendar to help organize my schedule. It’s also nice because I can use them on my phone and also on the computer.
  2. Apple podcasts- I enjoy listening to people discuss interesting ideas.

What’s your best time-saving shortcut/life hack?

Waking up early and at the same time every day. It’s much easier to get enough sleep if you have the same sleep schedule each night. This saves time as well because you will be able to use your time more efficiently if you get enough rest. If you start out with a productive mindset at the beginning of the day you will get a lot more done and save time in the long-run.

What everyday thing are you better at than everyone else? What’s your secret?

Resisting the temptation to waste money. I limit the number of shopping trips I take. It’s easier to say no to going to the store because this takes time and energy than it is to say no to buying things when you are already there. Also, I use a shopping list when I do go to the store. I only buy items that I know I will use and that I really like.

What do you listen to while you work?

I enjoy listening to many kinds of music. I often prefer silence. I find it difficult to focus when there is music in the background.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

My mom taught me to not let fear prevent me from doing things. I have a lot of anxiety, but as I practiced I got better at doing things that scare me. They also told me that life was going to be challenging and at times unfair. They said that I would be much happier if I could accept this and be thankful for the things I have.

Where do you find inspiration and new ideas?

I find inspiration and new ideas through talking to people, asking them questions and noticing how they do things. I also find inspiration from the stories of people who have overcome challenges. I like it when my grandma tells me stories about how she grew up.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” Benjamin Franklin
