
Four Months In, Pledge Parental Leave Is Going Strong
In March we announced our commitment to Pledge Parental Leave and today PPL announced that nine new partners—72andSunny, Artefact, Beyond, Brainly, frog, In Good Co, Trollback + Company, Work & Co, and 10,000ft—have joined the coalition, where each company promises to offer:
- Three months’ fully paid leave for the primary caregiver
- Three months of uninterrupted health insurance
- Six months’ guarantee that their position is held open
- A commitment to publishing their benefits publicly online
We’re very excited about the growing coalition of companies who care about the growth of their employees and their families.

Since joining PPL as founding partners, Moment has already had new parents benefit from the extended time with their new families and we have several others ready to strengthen bonds with their forthcoming newborns.
According to New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, “Too many parents face an impossible choice: Their new child, or their paycheck. […] Yet the United States still lags behind the rest of the world in offering this vital, basic benefit. That’s why leadership from businesses like those in the Pledge Parental Leave coalition is vital — and we need others to quickly follow suit.”
We’re extremely happy to see even more companies in the design industry start to help the United States set a new precedent and hope others will follow suit to bring the issue of parental leave to the forefront.
