It has been another busy week at Monaize HQ. Following our dICO postponement, members of the Komodo Platform team have been been working closely with our tech team to get the countdown under way once again.

A lot of the work has evolved around making the swap process so simple that your grandmother could to it. As ca333 (CTO at Komodo Platform) explained to the team, this is something we realised wasn’t quite the case when we did final testing as the dICO date approached on Friday 10th November which led to to us making a last minute decision to postpone.

As most of our followers and future MNZ token holders are aware, distributing tokens via atomic swap has never been done before and, therefore, requires an enormous amount of focus and determination to get it right. This report from Komodo gives a detailed understanding of what has been going on behind the scenes during this whole process.

So, when is the dICO actually happening?

We will not give an exact date for the dICO at this time because further testing needs to completed to confirm the new parameters that have been put in place this week. It is important for us to ensure that the results of these tests are satisfactory before committing to a new date.

Members having been writing to us concerned that the dICO will take place without them having had time to prepare. Therefore, we can confirm that we will give at least two weeks notice before confirming the new date.

What else has been happening?

UPComing VC event at Station F

Keynote Presentation of dICO and Partnership

The main event of the week took place on Friday 17th November at Station F in Paris — the world’s biggest (believe it or not) startup campus, founded by Xavier Niel. Monaize and Komodo Platform opened the stage at UPComing VC’s event for a keynote presentation to tell hundreds of startup founders and budding venture capitalists about our exciting our project. Vincent (CEO at Monaize) began by presenting the platform before handing over to ca333 to talk about the history of money starting with bartering, to different forms of currencies and how this has led to the current situation in which the genius invention of cryptocurrencies has come about.

Event participants, who were aware of general ICOs, were very interested to hear about the project between Monaize and Komodo Platform which is different from traditional ICOs due to its decentralised nature.

In case you you missed it

AMA with the Crypto Grinders

In case you missed it, an AMA (ask me anything) was held on Thursday 9th November at 2 PM GMT with Crypto Grinders — after the resounding success of the Komodo Teams AMA.

Monaize Platform demonstration from Robert (Head of UK) and Guillaume (CTO) in Zurich

The video is a demonstration of the Monaize platform from the presentation at the the blockchain convention in Zurich. This demonstration shows the application which will be the gateway to bank accounts for small businesses and freelancers. The application is a working product with full connectivity with banking, KYC and other technological partners. It remains in beta testing and will be available for our account holders when we open up registration to the public.
