BIA takes the stage at The Model Experience 3 Day Fashion Festival during 2022 LA Fashion Week

LA Fashion Week is a week for seasoned and up and coming designers to showcase some of LA’s most diverse designer collections.
Yet, what would LA Fashion Week be without the models?
The Model Experience (TME), founded by Ashley Covarrubias and as seen on Vice, VH1, TSR, TMZ, and Fox News, afforded models from all over the world the opportunity to showcase their skills on the runway .
The 3 day fashion event took place October 7th — 9th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the heart of LA kicking off its first day with a special guest performance by recording artist BIA .
I spoke with TME’s special access models who expressed how excited they were to witness a performance by BIA and how excited they were to be given the opportunity to slay the runway. The models also expressed their excitement to see the Ford and Wilhelmina models strut the runway and how fortunate they were to be a part of The Model Experience as a whole.
Before being granted access to walk the runway, models were required to participate in runway coaching with Jordan Love and Guetcha and also were required to attend a model orientation.
The 3 day fashion festival and red carpet event consisted of a series of panels and discussions centered around the fashion industry , a showcase of designer looks, curated playlists from DJs, vendors, and more.
For over a decade, TME has been a resource for models and talent.
