1. Begin with clean dry hair
2. Beginning at the fringe, use a curling iron to curl hair away from the face and secure with bobby pins
3. Continue creating pin curls down the center of the head, using a curling iron and bobby pins
4. Spray the curls liberally with MONAT STUDIO ONE Refinish Control Hairspray
5. Let the curls set for 10–20 minutes
6. Remove the bobby pins without unwinding the curls
7. Begin teasing and back combing the sections at the root
8. Lightly rake out the curls and smooth at the root
