African history and contributions are downplayed to justify enslaving our ancestors and support the colonization of African countries.

As a Black American, a lot of the struggle in Africa is lost on me. I’d like to learn more about how we have maintained our culture and bonded together instead of focusing on civil unrest and fighting amongst African nations.
