Face your demons or live like the ostrich

Refusing to face the truth about self or another is denial. A problem cannot be solved until it has been addressed or faced. The journey to heal begins when we give words to the demons that stifle and paralyze us. How difficult this first step to being truly free can be, but once that step is taken, a paradigm shift takes place within and we begin to face the battle of overcoming our demons.

Denial sometimes stems from fear, what will people say about…? Lack of freedom to be who we are, (remaining in the closet),

To the individual who wants to face and deal with their demons I say:

Arise and stand erect! Summon the powers that be to fight with you.

Be not Bashful, Be Bold, Be Brave, and JUST BE!

Seek that which is beautiful and true

Pay not attention to those who rain on your parade,

Ignore the Nay Sayers who rain on your parade.

Follow your dream, your feet planted firmly on the ground

Aim for the heights, for greater things you were made.

Your name is written in the Stars, look for it!

Do not quit this journey you have begun

Both hands to the plow and work at overcoming those demons

Be not afraid, what is needed is trust.

These things last

Faith, Hope and Love

Love conquers all, Love overcomes all things

Fly and soar like an eagle, be not like the ostrich

The view is better from the heavens

With God all things are possible.

Whatever does not conquer me makes me stronger, like a tree that is planted by running streams, I am made strong. Even from defeats and setbacks we can grow strong, so learn from that fall. We must learn how to fall without losing heart and being discouraged. Let us repeat with confidence, I can do all things in Him who strengthens me, and if God be with us, who can stand against us and if the Mighty one is on my side, whom shall I fear.
