As a child, travelling with your parents, sitting there in the back seat have you ever wondered what are the destinations of the other people in transit? Are they as excited as you are to go to the mountains, to the sea side or simply just be on the road? Were they indeed going where I thought they were? Who knows…
I've always been captivated by it, and I wanted to ask them all where are they going and why.

Now, years later, nothing changed. I am still yesterday’s child. Just the setting is different. Travelling less by road and more by plane, I find airports to be one of the most exciting places to work, transit through and start your journey from. However, my question still remains: where are they all travelling to?

I think now I have my answer: over the horizon. Reason? It can be any: visiting friends or family, business, school and so on. Whatever the case would be, up we go over the horizon where we are embracing new cultures, new customs, learn new languages, meet new and exciting people, make new friends, we face challenges…and the list can continue; but all this make our lives worth while and more rich.

This is my first ever blog entry and I hope this gave you a hint of what my favorite topic is and what I will write about: travelling, places (I visited or wish to visit), customs I came across… OVER THE HORIZON.
