I do not think that the color scheme and design on my sanitary napkin is of any significance and I do not think that the “Free the Nipple Movement” is something I would stand for.

But, hey, maybe you think it holds significance in some way or another. So, I am going to respect that, and not condemn these movements (and others like them).

But maybe it’s time we focus on issues that really matter.

These are inspiring stories of women who were abused in their homes, of women who stood up and fought against this abuse.

Take a moment to read/view these photo stories.

If you are a victim of abuse at home, or if you know someone who is, take a moment to show them these.

Our homes are our safe havens, and no one deserves to come home to something so disturbing.

Women, men and children suffer the repercussions of such treatment.

No one deserves to be abused. At home, at a workplace or anywhere at all.
