Right there with you lady, chemo ended mid-May, had my second surgery in June, finished 28x radiation last week, on Herceptin through Feb. 2017. Just started the fun combo of ovarian suppression + aromatase inhibitor. I’m 45. The other night my 10-year-old son asked, “Are you better?” How are we supposed to answer that? Say “no” and put kids through the despair constant worry of the past year? I was lucky, Stage 3, and no evidence of disease after the re-excision. I’m hoping all that radiation was targeted at a blank wall. But I’ll take the odds. Today I am better. And you are too.
