Monosnap & macOS Catalina

Oct 8 · 1 min read

macOS Catalina is available! There are some security improvements in Catalina for better user protecting. Apple’s technology to ensure only trusted software runs on a Mac, now checks all apps for known security issues, while new data protections require all apps to get permission before accessing user files, video and screen recording, and etc.

In this case, now you need to give permission Monosnap to screen recording. To give permission, follow the next steps:

  • In the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
  • In the System Preferences window, select Security and Privacy.
  • Open Privacy tab > Screen Recording.
  • Give Monosnap access.

❗️Please remove and give access one more time if it doesn’t help at the first.
