Hey Tamers,

Are you ready for a chance to shape the future of our community events? We’re thrilled to announce the MOGA Community Engagement Activity Proposal Contest! If you’ve got great ideas for fun and inclusive activities that will bring Tamers together, then we want to hear them. The best part is, you could win a $20 GGM prize and see your vision brought to life!

How to Participate:

1) Submit Your Proposal with Snapshot: HERE.

2 ) Be sure to set your voting end date to Feb. 17th.

3) And don’t forget to share the link to your proposal in the Activity Proposal Channel on Discord!

Criteria:

• Inclusivity: Since community engagement is the goal, we’re most interested in activities that the majority of members can easily participate in.
• Fun Factor: Community members will also be more likely to join in if your activity seems like something they’d enjoy, so try to keep in mind what would be fun for your fellow Tamers.
• Ease of Implementation: Originality and creativity are always appreciated, but ultimately, the best activities will be ones that are simple for our organizers to execute.

Prizes:

Tamers with the Top Three Proposals will receive $20 GGM each and the chance to see their activity become a reality!

One Grand Prize Winner will be guaranteed to see their proposed activity included in an upcoming event. They’ll also receive additional recognition!

Deadline:

All proposals must be submitted by February 17th (with the voting period also ending on February 17th) in order to be considered for the contest.

How Winners Will Be Chosen:

All qualifying proposals will be voted on via Snapshot and the three proposals with the highest number of votes will win!

This is a chance to really let your creativity shine and to help make MOGA Community Events even more amazing. So, don’t hold back! We can’t wait to see what fantastic ideas you all come up with.

How to Use Snapshot Governance

1. Access the Snapshot Interface:

Visit the website at https://snapshot.org/

2. Connect Your Wallet:

Click on “Connect Wallet” and choose a supported wallet (such as MetaMask or WalletConnect) to connect to Snapshot.

3. Choose the Relevant DAO:

Select MogaDAO and click Join.

4. Navigate to the Proposals Section:

Go to the Proposals section within MogaDAO’s Snapshot interface.

5. Create a Proposal:

Click on the “Create Proposal” button. You’ll be prompted to provide details for your proposal, including the title, description, and any relevant links or documents pertaining to your community engagement activity.

6. Specify Proposal Details:

Be sure to include all necessary information.

- Activity Details: Provide a clear explanation of your proposed community engagement activity.

- Timeline: Specify the intended duration for the activity, including proposed start and end dates.

- Rules: Clearly and concisely outline both rules and guidelines for your activity.

- Budget: If applicable, provide details on the estimated budget required for the activity.

7. Submit Proposal:

After making sure all relevant information has been entered, submit your proposal. You can confirm submission through your connected wallet. (Note that this process may involve a small transaction fee depending on the blockchain used by the DAO.)

8. Voting Period:

Once the proposal has been submitted, there will be a designated voting period during which community members will have a chance to vote on it. You can share the link to your proposal with the community to encourage participation in the voting process.

9. Vote on Proposals:

All community members will be able to access proposals and cast their votes using the Snapshot interface. Each address is permitted one vote.

10. Results and Implementation:

At the end of the voting period, results will be tallied. If proposals receive enough support, they will move forward to the implementation stage. Otherwise, they may be rejected or modified based on feedback.
