It’s almost time to join the Monsterra Tournament for competitive battles & massive prize pool of 50K USDT!

On August 25th, Monsterra will turn one marking the first year of a successful journey. In celebration of this joyful time, our team has arranged a great selection of activities, events, and a special competitive Tournament from 22 August to 21 September, 2023 to make sure we celebrate in style. Throughout August, the community will be able to participate in, and engage with different Monsterrra exclusive happenings of Clan encounters to earn lucrative rewards.

Let’s take a brief look at what our participants need to gear up and prepare for their thrilling detour of Monsterra 1st Birthday Tournament this year of 2023.

Clan Tournament Season 3 New Mechanism (Updated Sep.12th, 2023)

It’s exciting to receive booming participation from the whole community in the last 2 seasons of Clan battles. Stir up the heat and high flaming, let’s follow and head up for the 2 new updates of the 3rd season.

There’ll be 2 rounds of this time for the Clan Tournament.

Qualifying Round:

⚡️ The no.of Clans registered in this elimination round is NOT limited

⚡️ The pairing format is similar to previous seasons (3 clans/group). However, only the Clan with the highest score in each group can continue to the next round.

⚡️ The top 6 clans with the highest rankings will be able to participate in the final round. The ranking order is based on the number of rounds that the Clan has passed.

⚡️ In case there are 2 or more than 2 Clans passing the same number of rounds, the ranking order will be arranged based on the score of the last round in which the Clan participated.

2. Final Round:

⚡️ The 3 Clans with the highest rankings in the previous season will go straight to the final round without having to compete in the qualification round. These 3 Clans are called 3 seeds and are placed in 3 different groups.

⚡️ The 6 winning Clans in the qualification round will be randomly placed into 3 groups.

Competition Format:

⚡️ After the end of the first match of the final round, the 3 Clans with the highest points will fight against each other in the Upper Bracket. The 3 Clans with the 2nd highest points meet up in the Middle Bracket and the 3 clans with the lowest points will compete in the Lower Bracket.

⚡️ After the division, ONLY the team with the highest score can enter to the next round. The team with the 2nd and 3rd highest scores will be moved to the lower bracket by 1 level (Upper -> Middle -> Lower). The 2 Clans in the Lower Bracket branch that can not enter the next round will be immediately eliminated.

⚡️ The Grand Final will be held between the Top 3 Clans of the 3 brackets.

Q: If my clan is eliminated in the qualifying round, is there any chance to enter the final round?
A: Teams eliminated in the qualifying round still have a chance to enter the final round if ranked 6th or higher

Q: If the 3 clans that ranked 1st 2nd 3rd last season do not register, which clan will be able to enter directly?
A: The system will select these 3 Clans based on the registered groups of the new season. If one of the Top 3 clans 1,2,3 does not register, the system will prioritize those in the next rank 4th, 5th, 6th, etc in the previous season if they registered

Q: What are the benefits of a seed clan?
A: Seeded clans will not have to compete in qualifying rounds and will not meet other seeded clans in the first round of the finals.

Q: What advantages does the clan in the winning branch have compared to other branches?
A: The higher ranking a clan is in the branch, the fewer matches it must enter. Conversely, the clan in the lower branch must compete in more matches.

Q: What will the clans in the upper bracket do on non-competition days?
A: The clans in the upper bracket will be able to rest and watch the opponents in the lower bracket compete

Q: When will the Clan Tournament season 3 open?
A: The tournament is expected to be live on September 14, yet it may be changed if problems arise. We will officially announce the match time in the Telegram group. Plz closely follow up!

Unearth Exhilarating Tournament Journey🪐

For this year’s birthday celebration, Monsterra is eager to reflect on our journey so far and wants to praise the togetherness spirit as we deeply believe in unity and the power of collective action. Going along with that core credo, the community taking part in Monsterra Tournament this time will not enter the battle alone but in Clan formation — different united groups of like-minded gaming fellows. Read the following for a better explanation!

Clan Registration

Players are required to join a Clan for eligible participation. One player can join ONE CLAN ONLY.
A standard Clan needs to recruit at least 30 members
The clan owner is the ONLY eligible person to register for the Tournament challenge
The list of Clan members must be saved at the time of registration
Once successfully registered, the players will still belong to that Clan whether their accounts are kicked out of the Clan or not.

Battle Team

Each Clan must form two attack armies (each army can have a maximum of 7 Mongens) and lodge pre-registration before entering the battlefield on a daily basis.
Each army will build 1 defensive land using unlocked NFTs (similar logic to the blueprint).
1 NFT/Mongen can only be used in 1 squad
All registration can not be changed once applied
If players do not re-build/re-arrange their defensive Land, they will be counted defeated when being attacked.

Clan Battle Matching Mechanism

The system will randomly match any 3 Clans together on a daily basis
The matching ends when having enough pairs of 3 Clans/table/round.
If there is 1 Clan left over, that clan will head up straight to the next round
If there are 2 Clans left over, those 2 clans will join a head-to-head compromise
Once Clan pairing is completed, players are frozen within 60 minutes for army deployment

Main Battle Map

The battle map contains 3 main castles for 3 clans to compete
Smaller surrounding sub-castles are strongholds to occupy
There will be 1 Central castle containing treasure located in the center of the map
There are 3 Clans with 3 corresponding flags of red, yellow, and green. The captured castle will hang the flag of the Clan that has successfully taken it over.
In the beginning, the Clan will start moving from the main castle and attack the nearby strongholds for occupation
The Clan are only allowed to attack the stronghold that is connected to their main castle

Map Moving

Players can move to empty castles or the ones that have not been occupied by their clan.
If the castle is occupied by another clan, you must defeat all the castle guardians to take over ownership (You will find the total number of guardians on each castle roof). If there is no defense team in the castle, the attacker will become the owner of the castle.
The players will have to wait 5 minutes to take their next move to the next castle
The army icon will be displayed at the top of the castle (2 formations) according to their move.

Attack Rules

Each castle will be protected under a free shield for 10 minutes without being attacked after changing owners.
Players can only attack castles connected to the castle they are located in. The straight attack to the opponent’s main castle is NOT allowed.
Players have to choose their main target out of the list of defenders
If the attacker loses (<60% damage), the attacking army will be sent back to their main castle.
If the attacker wins (>60%, <100%), the whole army can stay at the current castle and prepare for the next attack. Players will lose troops after each battle (same as the Battle Front mechanism).
If the last castle guardian is 100% defeated, the attacker can take over the ownership and automatically move to that new castle.
Each player has 10 default fighting shifts which are reset every 6 hours (6:00, 12:00, 18:00)

Defense Rules

The BF’s shield is not applied in this mode
The special effect of Battlefront and Arena decoration is not applied in the Tournament. ONLY decorations with All mode effect work.
Exploded landmine in the previous defense will be reset in the next round
The previously defensive land setup will be displayed for the opponent under the attack. Depending on whether the attacked army is 1 or 2, the corresponding defensive land will be displayed.
Mongen can be deployed in the defend and attack mode at the same time
The HP status of each landplot will be saved to notify the next attacker under defense mode
When a defensive land is 100% destroyed, the Clan owning that defensive land will be sent back to the main castle

Score Ranking

Performance points are counted based on the ownership of captured castles
Possession of the castle in the belt (outer ring): 5 points/1 castle/10 minutes of ownership
Possession of the castle in the inner ring (2nd round): 20 points/1 castle/10 minutes of ownership
Possession of the center castle: 50 points/1 castle/10 minutes of ownership
Points are paid every 10 minutes per the system time and awarded to the owning clan at the last second
At the end of the day, the Clan with the lowest score ranking will be eliminated.

Battle Prize

The reward is divided among members based on the ratio of damage dealt to the total damage of the entire Clan. The greater damage you made, the more reward to win.

Battle Prize for Clan

The $50k rewards will be split in Season 1/ Season 2/ Season 3/ Season 4 with the following pool structure:

Clan Top 1: 1 Random Legendary NFT + 40% of the total pool of MSTR prizes (divided among clan members according to the percentage of damage dealt in the tournament)
Clan Top 2: 1 Random Epic NFT + 30% of total MSTR prize pool (divided among clan members according to damage inflicted in tournament)
Clan Top 3: 1 Random Epic NFT + 20% of the total pool of MSTR prizes (divided among clan members according to the percentage of damage dealt in the tournament)
Clan Top 4–10:1 Random Rare NFT + 1% of the total pool of MSTR prizes (divided among clan members according to the percentage of damage dealt in the tournament)
