The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, or CAM St. Louis for short, is an art museum for contemporary art located in the Grand Center Arts District of St. Louis, Missouri. The museum is housed in a building designed by the American architect Brad Cloepfil and opened to the public in October 2005.

The CAM St. Louis contains exhibition spaces, a library and archive, education facilities, a theater, and a cafe. It is one of the anchor institutions in the Grand Center Arts District, which also includes the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, Powell Symphony Hall, the Fox Theatre, and the Sheldon Concert Hall.

The mission of the CAM St. Louis is “to exhibit and collect contemporary art from around the world and to provide innovative arts education programs that engage people of all ages and backgrounds.” The museum’s collection includes over 4,000 pieces of artwork by more than 1,000 artists from around the world.

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis has been praised by art critics for its exhibitions and collections of contemporary art. It has been called “one of America’s best new art museums” by ARTNews and “one of the Midwest’s most vital cultural institutions” by the Riverfront Times.
