Food tasted good — taste is as authentic as it can get.
The serving is quite a large portion, good for those who have a big appetite.
The lor bak is an interesting twist — made with pork belly with a healthy portion of lard.
The Vegemite pork ribs taste good.
Overall an enjoyable meal. Will surely be back again.”

“The food is delicious. If you are looking for Malaysian food, this place is good for you. It has delicious food and a variety of options. The best dish that seems undisputed is Indimie goreng. The place and Vibes are good and beautiful!”

“This is way better than our previous lunch place (Japanese). Those who can take spicy, u should come here. Definitely get the char keow teow and indo mee. No joke. I think it’s worth the price given you’re not in Malaysia and still can get such a good food. Cendol is good delicious too. Staff sometimes it’s a bit busy, u just gotta be bit patient. But they will get the things done for you. I asked for less sweet kopi kaw which was not in the menu. The place it’s a bit stuffy when it’s full and seating narrow. But if you just want a good food. This is the place. Go in, eat, finish, get out.”

Recommended dishes: Nasi lemak with chicken, Satay beef, Roti and Curry, Teh Tarik, Milo Tarik.

Customer Reviews:

“The most famous restaurant in this area. You must try once if you want to eat Malaysian food in Sydney.
I came back two weeks later. I liked spicy lamb curry because of its tender texture and flavorful soup. Chicken curry and chicken pieces stir-fried with whole spices are OK but it’s not my thing. The dessert is all good. The staff is always friendly. Highly recommend.”

“Comeback after years, place still busy pumping food.

Chicken satay was good, 12 pieces for $30, then I have their tea, with hint of ginger, perfect for windy cold night.

Roti was light and delicate, can’t go wrong!”

“Not that great to queue 20 mins for it and spend 60 aud. I’ve had better meals with much lesser. Not everything was bad. I did like the nasi lemak. The sambal wasn’t much. I wished there was more sambal. Nice balance of sweet and spicy. Adding the fried chicken made the meal much better. But it was still abit too expensive for something like nasi lemak (plain). The service and cleanliness was abit underwhelming. The food came fast and hot. But the loud noise from the kitchen and the sticky floor just made the experience less enjoyable when you’re paying for meals at a premium. Looking around the table the popular item would be the satay. So we got the beef one to try. Each stick had generous portions of meat. Sauce was abit sweet to my liking
Nasi lemak with chicken. 7/10

Not bad. Love the fragrant rice and Sambal.
Chicken murtabak 4/10

Salty. Curries were okay.
Satay beef 6/10

Generous portion. Sauce was abit sweet.
Teh tarik 5/10

Overly sweet.
Milo tarik 6/10

Not bad.”

Customer Reviews:

“Lovely, modern Thai food! Great menu selection and everything we ordered was prepared well. Obviously gets crowded on weekend nights, expect a short wait.
🚈 Right next to Capitol Square stop on light rail, easy walking distance to Central”

“The food at this restaurant is truly excellent, and I adore the delightful ambiance. The service provided is top-notch, leaving no room for complaints. Their pad thai surpasses any others I’ve tasted in Sydney — it’s simply the best. As a fan of papaya salad, I particularly enjoyed their version with black crab and dried shrimp.
However, my only minor concern is that the restaurant tends to get overcrowded, making it challenging to navigate through the narrow pathways, especially since our table was located at the very end. Apart from that small issue, everything else was perfecto!”

“Ordered a chicken Ki Mao, I think it was. Flavour was missing as was the chicken. The few pieces I found was beyond a joke. What was one of my favourite Thai restaurants fell short of the mark this time.”

“I unexpectedly wandered into a Thai street,

And I must say, the Thai cuisine on this street is authentic.

I randomly entered this small street-side restaurant,

And I was conquered by the flavors and value for money.
One soup, one dish,

Two people left completely satisfied.
I saw on the menu they also offer rice bowl options,

For a solo lunch on a regular day,

For instance, choosing this stir-fried pork with kangkong as my rice bowl topping,

There’s both meat and vegetables, and it’s very appetizing.
The servers here are all Thai,

Providing genuinely warm service.”

“Very casual & very popular spot serving excellent Thai cuisine at very affordable prices.

You can book a table ahead of time online- if you’re a larger group then it’s definitely recommended. Seating available indoors and outside on the sidewalk.

You order and pay at the counter, and then the staff deliver the food to your table.

All the dishes were freshly prepared and were really excellent!

Highly recommended.”
