The Race to the Moon has begun — Price Races are now Live! Get ready to board your chosen rocket in the $100,000 race into the stars. Each Rocket has several price milestones on the way to the Moon, each time a price milestone is hit passengers will receive Moonieverse rewards! If your rocket reaches its final price target first, you become 1/300 entered into the 100k Price Race Prizes!

With Price Races you can use your Moonie NFT to board a rocket and race alongside your favorite cryptocurrencies. As each Moonie is a personification of a different cryptocurrency, the rocket that each unique Moonie type can board is also correlated.

Doggie’s can board the DOGE Rocket, Bitty’s the Bitcoin Rocket, and so on. The concept of Price Races is based on which rocket you believe will hit its provided price target first. The first rocket that hits its price target wins the price race, and the Moonies aboard that rocket will have the opportunity to win big prizes!

Our first Price Race will take place between BTC, ETH, and DOGE cryptocurrencies, for which the specified speculative price targets are:

BTC- $ 100,000;

ETH- $ 10,000;

DOGE- $ 1.00.

How to Join the Price Races

Note: A more detailed step-by-step article will be coming soon!

To join our debut price race you must first:

Get an OG Moonie. For this race this will have to be either a Doggie, Ettie, or Bitty. If you do not have such an NFT, you can get it now on OpenSea. Remember each Moonie can only board their matching rocket! — So keep this in mind depending on what rocket you’d like to board.
Go to the Moonie Arcade Game Portal Price Race Page, connect your wallet, and select a rocket you’d like to board.
Boarding a rocket will cost a small fee in MATIC per each Moonie (~$20)

Note on boarding fee: We have previously announced that the fee will be in $BNB — this is no longer the case. The fee for boarding a rocket will now be in MATIC. We made it native on the Polygon network to increase the performance, make it cheaper to use (transaction fees) as well as eliminate any potential problems along the way by making the solution single chain.

In light of these changes above, we have made it so that for a LIMITED TIME you will be able to board a rocket for free — our gift to the Citizens of the Moonieverse!

Rewards

Once a rocket reaches its price target first, 15% of the users in that rocket will have the chance to receive BIG rewards. Each of the rockets has a 300 seat limit, so make sure to board before all the seats are claimed! Winners are selected at random from participants of the winning rocket. The reward system is as follows (Prizes in USDT):

FAQ

Can I still play arcade games with my NFT after entering the price race?

Initially, Moonies once staked inside of the rocket will not be able to participate in active gameplay. However, once inside the rocket you will be eligible for the Moon Drops (Air Drops) containing valuable prizes every time your rocket hits the next price milestone. Each rocket has a set of price milestones for its token that unlock rewards for passengers. As a reward you will also receive Moonchests from which you can get more Moonies to play with in the 2D or 3D Moonieverse games!

It’s worth noting that your special Moonies are never burned, you can redeem them once the Price Race ends!

Which NFTs can participate in the race?

In the first, long-announced race, three rockets will compete — BTC, ETH, and DOGE. Therefore, only Bitty, Ettie, and Doggie can participate. If you do not have such an NFT, you can get it now on OpenSea.

We have plans, and we are constantly thinking about conducting similar races for other cryptocurrency lists, but with slightly changed — and adapted to market conditions, rules. Future races will involve enticing De-Fi races such as “The ETH Killer Race” and “The Exchange Coins Race” or even submarine style races for the targets below current market prices, fitting better to the current market conditions :)

More Races means also more types of Moonie eligible for participation. Normies, 2nd gen OGs as well as even external collections will be welcome in the future of Price Races history. One thing is certain — we do not want to stop at this race.

What are seat Classes on a rocket?

The specific seat classes on a rocket are nothing more than an indicator of how early you joined the race. The earlier you board a rocket the higher the class you will have! First come first serve! There are 3 classes of seats:

First
Business
Economy

The higher the class the more visible your Moonie NFT avatar is in these historic vessels! Classes do not have an influence on the chances of winning, it’s just ultimate flex to have 1st class seats.

Every Moonie on the Rockets will go down in history on our Wall of Fame, which we will send to space!

What if the race never ends?

There is a chance that the race will take longer than you expected. With Moon Drops (Air Drops) being distributed to participants along the way, users will be able to collect more NFTs to play with. The Prize for the Race winners is huge, compensating for the possible prolonged times of ending. If the race takes too long (As it looks it would never finish — unlikely) the price targets may be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.

How are Price Races financed?

The Price Races are financed from the Moonchest sales of the 1st and 2nd collections as well as the projects treasury. Price Races with far targets will allow us to collect more fees from the sales of the Moonchests along the way.

Future races will be financed mainly from the entry fees and part of revenue collected from the Moonchest sales.
