1. What do I get when subscribing?
• Access ALL 2000+ styles, with new ones added periodically
• Unlimited output resolutions
• No watermark or ads
• Custom styles creation and sharing
2. How many devices can I use with one subscription?
Unlimited, as long as they are from the same platform: so iPhones/iPads/iPods. Just download Painnt and tap the “Restore” link at the bottom of the subscription popup screen.
Note: Mac, Android, and Windows 10 require separate subscriptions, they can’t be transferred from one platform to the other.
3. Do I lose my work if I unsubscribe?
Never. We’ll keep your custom styles and favorite styles so that if you want to reactivate your subscription you’ll be able to continue using them.
4. How do I cancel or change my subscription?
You can cancel or change your Painnt subscription from the Device Settings app on your home screen. See here:

5. Does the subscription automatically renews when expired?
Yes. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period (another year for annual subscribers, another month for monthly subscribers, another week for weekly subscribers) unless you change your subscription preferences in your account settings.
6. I hate subscriptions! Why don’t you put a single purchase option?
Developing software takes a lot of ongoing effort. We need to:
- fix bugs
- polish the UI and keep the app up-to-date in each iOS update
- create new styles
- maintain a GPU cloud farm so that you can create custom styles
- add new PRO tools to tweak photos
- maintain a cloud for the community section
- … and zillions more things, besides paying bills and feeding our families!
Unfortunately a one-shot purchase doesn’t allow us to continue developing Painnt. Believe us, we tried before with another app and almost went bankrupt.
If you don’t want to subscribe, you can perfectly use the app for free, we provide lots of free effects and HD, and will continue adding free ones.
