I’ll always Feel the Bern, but now I’m With Her

I would have preferred Bernie. I’ll be voting against Trump.

What I DO like about this outcome: Bernie in the Senate. That is a very good thing.

So, if Bernie is trying to hold a President accountable, he’s got very little pull with Trump, considerably more with Clinton.

The oligarchy and corruption took decades and centuries to build, and are deeply entrenched. It’s going to take a while to fix, and we need to be smart about it.

We had a shot at the top spot. It was a long shot. It didn’t fly. Partly by cheating (DNC, not Clinton) but the margin was such that the cheating almost certainly didn’t change the outcome.

The top spot is not the whole thing. Not even the most important part.

Clinton is slow or no progress. Trump is a huge step in the wrong direction. Trump is a Supreme Court that is not just tilted towards oligarchy but definitively a champion of it. Trump is more voting restrictions that make the next Bernie’s run even harder.

Seriously: If Trump is elected, he will be a literal oligarch.
