Seed and Serpent

And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15 NKJV

There’s something interesting I saw as God was talking to the serpent

He put hatred between the woman and the serpent, and between its seed and her Seed

The woman’s seed, I believe is Jesus, looking at that capital ‘S’

Jesus will bruise the serpent and the serpent would bruise His heel.

I believe this is talking and prophesying defeat of the enemy through the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It’s also showing us that Jesus would be born of a woman.

In terms of being bruised

Serpent = head

Seed = heel

Jesus was bruised for our transgressions and through that we were healed.

How do you kill a snake?🤔 By hitting its head. Meaning, the Seed gave a fatal blow to the serpent that would eventually kill it when He died and rose from the grave.
