Why I only eat one carb, 94% of the time.

Eating clean and eating healthy are really important to me. It is important to me so I can live the best that I can so I can continue to be there for my kids, set a good example for them and maybe help others along the way.

Because my health and the health of my family are so important, sweet potatoes have become the center of my diet and why I have written an entire book on it, called The Sweet Potato Diet, which is due to hit bookshelves early in 2017.

Sweet potatoes have a plethora of benifits. Not only do they help with fat loss and they lack the glycemic spike that can be caused by other carbs, but there are so many ways you can prepare them and so many things you can do with sweet potatoes that they don’t get boring.

We know that when you remove processed carbs and refined sugars from your diet, you instantly begin to feel better and it has lasting effects on your health. This is what sweet potatoes do, because they are the best carb that you can be consuming. This is a clean carb and if you are trying to eat as close to nature as possible, this is the way you want to go.

Replacing your carbs with sweet potatoes can help you stay healthy and even lose weight, but it is also important to pay attention to what else you are eating. You need to make sure that you are rotating your meats and being sure not to skip out on grass fed red meat, as there are nutritional values you can’t get from chicken or fish.

You also need to be sure you are eating green vegetables and healthy fats, such as avocados, coconut oil or olive oil. As long as you are changing out the other foods you are eating, replacing your carbs with sweet ptoatoes is highly beneficial.

And remember I said I only eat them 94% of the time. Other times, during my cheat meals, I eat white rice as my carb. A lot of this is personal prefernce, as I love to eat sushi as my cheat meal. The other reason I chose white rice is because it is a cleanr carb, in comparison to brown rice, and is debatably one of the top carbs. When it comes down to it, although it is my cheat meal, I still try to make it as clean as I can.

Even during your cheat meal, you should avoid processed food as it always has rammifications, so eat as clean as you can and eat as close to nature as you possibly can. Processed food is relatively new to the human race and so our bodies are not built to thrive off of it. Eating clean and eating smart, like replacing your carbs with sweet potatoes, is the way your body thrives.
