Dear “cis bigot” Hill:

My gender doesn’t replace my name. What the fuck even?

“Angendered” is grammatically incorrect, in the same way “manned” or “womaned” is grammatically incorrect. I have always been agender. It is not something that was done to me. Take it from an editor: “yellow paper” and “yellowed paper” are two different concepts; one has always been yellow while the other has been yellowed by an outside influence. Thus “agender”, not “agendered”, is correct. You’re welcome for the education.

Trans rights ARE NOT IN CONFLICT WITH CIS RIGHT re. public washrooms, as trans people CURRENTLY using public washrooms does not lead to greater rates of sexual assault of small girls by cis men pretending to be trans. (Disturbingly, cis bigots ever seems to worry about cis men assaulting young boys in the men’s room.) As such, this is just another example of a “trans panic” defense, and the legislation that bars trans people from using public washrooms is both unjust and unethical, and a violation of trans people’s human rights. I tend to respond to unjust laws in the way recommended by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

You know less about this issue than I do, because you are cis, and do not need to know about this issue for your own protection. Consider quieting down and listening instead of sticking your foot further in your mouth. If cis people listened to trans people instead of talking over us, you might just learn something.
