I would like to hear you spell out what you think the mistakes of globalization are.

I think your model captures the general issues in a nutshell just fine. I don’t think we disagree much on the issues, we probably just disagree on the solutions.

If unregulated, businesses will always try to continue to maximize profits. International businesses are hard to effectively regulate. Said businesses are profiting from their ability to move and adapt faster than international governments are able to effectively regulate.

This happens not just internationally, but also just within the US as well.

Businesses have been more successful at sabotaging regulation than we the people have been at demanding effective regulation.

I feel that neither party is going to contribute a meaningful solution to that problem, hence I feel like I cannot support either party. While I am hopeful that we the people can find a peaceful resolution to this very real crisis, I am ready with my guillotine should America wake up from its dumb and happy stupor. Thus far, our unsustainable system has proven effective at keeping the masses fat, dumb, and happy by printing money and selling out our future.
