I’m attempting to use my experience as a dancer and choreographer to make more sense of the tech world.

I went to code school. I’m reading Cracking the Coding Interview. But I need this all to work better in my brain. So, I’ve separated the code ideas into two categories with respect to choreography:

  • Solo phrase work
  • Ensemble work

I’m thinking that ensemble work will make the most sense of all the moving parts (data). But for my own learning sake and getting these concepts firmly wedged into my muscle memory, I’m first going to choreograph a solution to an algorithm as a solo venture.

While discussing my ideas with peers I was directed toward a delightful Hungarian dance take on the bubble sort algorithm.

Enjoy, and stay tuned for my first stab!
