Do we create our own dreams from looking at other people’s reality on Social media!?!!

I won’t point fingers at other people who do, especially since I have done the same thing myself. While scrolling through different social media platforms, noticing the things other people post and how we perceive them to live can make anyone envious. But should we want that for ourselves or should we want different for ourselves. Social media is and can be a phenomenal marketing tool, if it’s done right. Many people don’t know that everything they post to either of the social sites, is marketing. From showing off their cars, clothes, nightlife, etc. is all marketing. Once these images are visually seen by someone, now its implanted in there. Consciously they may not care about it, but subconsciously they do. Now comes the creating process, creating the idea that they want to either have that life, car, house, or man/woman. Once that process has started, the old dreams they may have wanted for themselves is gone out the window.
Love of the Same

Everyone knows the phrase, “Birds of a feather, flock together” right? If notthis means, different individuals may have the tendency to associate with others who share the same interest, bond, or views. This also happens when it comes to the different social media platforms. Most people will either friend or follow someone they deem as a person of interest or think they share the same common interest. That’s when homophily is present the most in the different social media platforms. There is benefits when it comes to having the presence of homophily, especially for businesses for marketing, but also to build and be a part of group that someone can talk and relate about the same topics.
