Let’s F**king Go
The initial reaction to any anticipated comic book adaptation is always the same, it’s “let’s f**king go.” Fans have been waiting for team-ups to happen that eventually do, because Hollywood is in a peak cycle of generating box office worthy I.P for audiences. They will continue to cash that check in as long as they have the ability to do so. Marvel Studios has an exceptionally good track record of delivering what fans want and for a decade they did it so consistently that they almost out-did themselves. The last few years however have been anything but peak Marvel. That’s neither here nor there because the point is, Marvel head Kevin Feige knows how to weave together the right deals behind the scenes so that the best combinations can happen on screen.
