Embracing Extroversion: The Beginning of the Journey
In a world that often celebrates extroversion, it takes courage for an introverted soul to come out of the cocoon. This is the beginning of my journey toward extroversion. But sincerely, I’m not sure if I want to get to the end of the trip or if I want to start the journey at all!
Maybe it’s a bit contradictory :-)
The reality is that an inherent introvert, at a certain moment, feels the desire to bridge the gap between his introverted tendencies and the joy of sharing experiences (professional ones, in my case) with a vast audience.
So this is the beginning of the journey of an introvert that has chosen to share his professional knowledge and insights through public blogs and published stories.
In this journey, it’s likely to encounter various challenges and obstacles, from the fear of judgment to the discomfort of sharing personal thoughts and experiences. However, with each step taken, self-confidence and communication skills should make progress.
My dream is to have the determination and the commitment to become more comfortable in social situations. And who knows? I enjoy the process more than I ever thought possible.
I hope this journey may resonate with fellow introverts who yearn to harness their full potential in a society that often values outgoing personalities, encouraging others to embrace their transformation, regardless of their starting point.
In my future posts, on one side, I hope to provide a glimpse into the trials, triumphs, and everyday nuances of embracing extroversion; on the other side, I’ll try to give back to the community parts of my professional knowledge.
And please note carefully, I intentionally used the subject “I” more times in this article than in the rest of my life…that’s the first giant step towards extroversion :-).
The second step was to challenge myself in writing and publishing this post here on Medium, disclosing my real identity.
