The Morpheus Labs Revenue Model
We are excited to share with you further details on the revenue model of the Morpheus Labs Blockchain-Platform-as-a-Service ecosystem. We strongly believe that a comprehensive utility value and revenue model will create a strong network that benefits all stakeholders involved.
Subscription
The first and most important revenue stream will be a subscription-based system, allowing corporations of various sizes to access the core functionality of the Morpheus Labs BPaaS features. We will provide different tiers of subscriptions that are optimized for the needs of the respective target group:
- Freemium
- Startup
- SME
- Enterprise
- Government
Similar to Software-as-a-Service solutions, we think this subscription model will help align incentives between Morpheus Labs and our customers, as we are constantly improving our platform to increase and sustain our subscription base.
Application Store
An essential part of the Morpheus Labs ecosystem will be the application store for decentralized applications. Similar to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, our platform will allow developers and application vendors to charge for their dapp downloads. This also includes possible costs for upgrades and in-app purchases. Morpheus Labs will establish a revenue stream based on a percentage commission on these purchases.
Platform Distributorship
The platform distributors are our partners that manage the distribution of the Morpheus Labs BPaaS in specific regions/countries. With bespoke partnership agreements, we grant exclusive distributorship.
Application Vendor
Developers and application vendors will have an opportunity to pay for additional visibility of their dapps. We are also evaluating to charge security deposit from application vendors to ensure the quality and safety of the decentralized applications.
Protocol Vendor
We are seeking bespoke partnerships with leading blockchain protocol providers. These protocols can benefit from the Morpheus Labs platform and gain access to our developer community that can then build exciting decentralized apps on top of their protocol.
Project/Customizable Solution
Morpheus Labs will also provide project-based services, including developing decentralized applications for corporate customers that do not have the technological expertise or human capital to build these applications themselves. Customizable solution also includes on unique packages on subscription fee for large enterprises.
API Economic
One more revenue stream will be enabled through various APIs that we will build and expose in the future. Customers can plug into these APIs and use them to facilitate interoperability between various tokens or decentralized applications.
This revenue model is also the foundation for the Morpheus Labs tokenomic structure. We will share more details about the use of the MITx token in the Morpheus Labs ecosystem in an upcoming article.
