Sexism is Hard to Explain

I used to think being a woman must be awesome (it is), because the doors almost always fling open, or more literally, they get to use the lifeboats before others (or the other) in the case of an emergency. Kel, if we ever meet at some point, I’ll likely be confused as to whether I should open, as the norm is, or let live. The post is great in that it attempts to elucidate a part of womanhood we’ve been blinded to, but it’s themed with sexism, leaving someone like me a bit puzzled. Sometimes, it’s more of popular stereotypes than of sexism. I guess I’ll just stay away from doors.
