Mosquito Magnets are the most widely recognized brand name mosquito traps on the market nowadays but do they actually work as though they should? The response to this question is yes. . .and no. There are definite pros AND cons to owning a Mosquito Magnet.

First, It Could Be helpful to give A fast outline of why mosquitoes are drawn to us at the first place and the way the Mosquito Magnet really works to eliminate the danger of illness from our houses and lawns.

Female mosquitoes (the Biters) are very attracted to individual blood due to the proteins that our blood contains. Mosquitoes utilize this protein to help them in their reproductive cycle letting them put more eggs (around 400+ eggs onto a single drop of water).

Mosquito Magnets discharge a continuous stream of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) mimicking the human breath. Mosquitoes are automatically lured into the Magnet believing they’re going to get a wonderful small meal but are rather vacuumed into a web through the Magnet’s patented Counter-Flow Technology.
