Tata Institute of Social Sciences is popular for its Masters in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations which was earlier known as Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. The TISS is sanctioned by UGC and is certified by NAAC. The TISS organizes entrance exam for social science aspirants every year. The master’s programs are Master of Public Health, Masters of Science, Ministry of Home Affairs and Masters of Arts. Main campuses of TISS are in Mumbai andTuljapur and other campus are at Hyderabad and Guwahati.

TISS Exam Pattern
The Institute conducts the entrance exam at below mentioned test centers for covering the complete nation for advantage of all eager students to take online test. However, who may wish to take written test can avail the option while booking for entrance test. The duration of test is 1 hour and 40 minutes for both online and offline candidates. A total of 100 questions are asked which carry one mark each and for wrong answers negative marking is done.
• Test paper comprise of 100 Marks.
• Pre-interview test and Group Discussion will carry 50 Marks.
• Personal Interview carries 75 Marks.
• Total Marks: 225

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for both male and female candidates for the TISSNET entrance test are as follows:

· He or she must be Indian by nationality.

· It must for a candidate to have a graduation degree from any of the sanctioned universities of India.

· The candidates must have studied in graduation as a full-time candidate.

· Any higher qualification other than graduation is also eligible.

· The candidate must have completed their under graduation on or before 11th June 2017.

Application Process

The Application Process can be done in two modes which are given as follows:

Offline Mode:

Physically, candidate can get application forms from any of the TISS institutes across India. This is available for candidates who lacks computer knowledge and are from remote areas, where internet facility is not available.
Online Mode

· The online registration of the entrance exam is simple.

· Firstly log in to official website and registration is done.

· After that online payment is made.

· All the required documents, photograph and signatures are uploaded.

Registration Fees of TISSNET 2017

· If the payment is done online through bank debit card, credit card or net banking, the application fees amounts to Rs.1030.

· If the payment is done in cash through any of State Bank of India branch, the application fess amounts to Rs.1000 and bank charges are also charged on such payment.
