Getting to this point, the boot camp, hasn’t been a walk in the park. But then again I believe you have to come across difficulties so as to learn and be able to reach your potential.

Having to learn an absolutely new programming language from scratch and being tested on it right after was the first big hurdle. When I went throughthe instructions for the home study test, I was like “Can I really do this?” but I was up for any challenge so I got busy, studied and I was able to tackle the home study test.

So far I have had to also learn more things like tools used in various aspects of software development like pivotal tracker, github and others used for creating other things like wireframes and UML class diagrams. It is challenging but having people you can go to for help makes it easier.

My biggest challenge at the moment would be good internet access. It limits my ability to tackle the challenges at hand efficiently. Since I am truly passionate and determined in becoming an Andelan, I won’t let it get in my way.
