Here’s the deal. Some exec at OKC wants the service to make more money…a natural business expectation. Anytime a user makes a love-connection through viewing visitors, and without paying for “A-list,” is an “unprofitable” member.
By removing the the “visitors” feature, ALL male members must either muster up the courage to say hi the person they are interested in, and all women must do the same…even those women who hoped for an expection of chivalry on the part of the men. OR pay for A-list. Since most people mention in their profile that they “cannot see ‘likes,’” not many people are using that feature to begin with. Many, not all but many, people who liked a profile did so because they were visiting the profile. And previously, unless someone who “liked” your profile was browsing it invisibly or they swiped right on the app, you would not be able to see the viewer. But in that scenario, you would have a good chance of seeing who might have liked your profile simply by viewing your list of visitors…but OKC can’t make money on that.
So they did away with it. No matter what spin they concoct, the above is true.
