Wishful thinking vs Positive thinking
Ridhima Gupta

Well written. I fully agree.

One comment: Sometimes our frame of mind (which, as you rightly said, ultimately leads to success or failure) is actually driven by things like our level of confidence, our past experiences etc. I’m sure we can change our frame of mind, but it is influenced by all these other things that have already happened or are core to the person we are.

For example, the lady in this article who is thinking about process, might have cracked interviews earlier and might know what it takes. Whereas the other one is thinking more about how she is good and can easily make it — probably she had small successes served on a platter a few times in the past, and is mistaken that it will continue to happen like that.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
