BE WITH PEOPLE WHO VALUE YOU (poem)

In the depths of life’s unfathomable sea,
Resides the essence of a truth, profound and free,
Respect yourself, let not judgments define;
Embrace your worth, like a celestial shrine.

In this vast universe, where souls may wander,
It is crucial, my friend, to truly ponder,
For your existence holds immense value,
A treasure unbound, so pure and true.

Shrug off the opinions that smother and confine,
For they wear blindfolds; sightless, they define,
Be self-aware, like a sun’s vibrant ray,
Illuminate your path, amidst the gray.

Surround yourself with souls who understand,
The true essence of who you are, so grand,
For in their eyes, you’ll see your reflection,
A mirror of strength, devoid of deception.

Beware, dear soul, of those who belittle,
Whose words sting like venom, with no acquittal,
Be with those who uplift, cherish and adore,
For their value for you will forever endure.

You deserve a tribe, a kinship so divine,
Whose presence ignites your spirit to shine,
For in their company, you’ll flourish and grow,
Like a radiant blossom kissed by a rainbow.

Respect yourself, dear soul, without hesitation,
Seek companionship that fuels appreciation,
Together, you’ll soar beyond any plight,
Guided by love, emboldened by light.

So, let not the judgments of this world prevail,
Embrace your worth, like an adamantine tale,
Surround yourself with those who value true,
For in doing so, you’ll discover the real you.
