The intention to write more and to flesh-out my thoughts here are there — and have been there.
Now I have to figure out how to allot the time. Distractions are the worst. Productivity is compromised and one has to virtually lose touch of social graces to get anything accomplished these days.
I wonder if that is what it takes — to isolate from the world. I often get songs done when I’m alone. I often unlock breakthrough decisions when I’m not pulled from directions.
Nonetheless, I continue. We continue. Continuation of valleys, mountains, plains, crossing rivers, and exploration of mountains.
The word “interesting” can go either way. It could mean positive, negative, or a nonchalant uncreative way of describing something — so that makes three possible ways.
2016 has positioned itself to be an interesting one. Political climate is a no-brainer factor on why that is. Before the end of this year, United States will elect a new president.
I’m not about to go on a political rant here… But I just thought of something today that could possibly be used as my “political commentary” mantra for this year. And it goes like this…
People vote-in leadership that reflect themselves…
It’s about 12:18am at the moment. This is an all too common occurrence. I am very much conformed to this schedule but I somehow still get upset that I have this “abnormality” in me. I know plenty “creative” folk have this night-owl syndrome and I do feel that bond because it makes me feel like I’m not the only one — and well, it also legitimizes my “creativeness” per se.
HOWEVER, the sad but true reality is that I, along with my creative comrades, would have to survive a society that is currently (and mostly) running on morning shifts. Stuff…
The bravest people I know aren’t the ones sitting on top of their hill made from their talent, looks, and wealth. Even if they’re nice, sweet, or even generous, they’re not necessarily brave. It’s fairly easy to be all those if you got it made. The bravest are the ones who doesn’t have much at all and yet still give of themselves. I, we, need to keep those around. Because in the end, nice doesn’t cut it.
Bravery is what elevates ideas, careers, dreams, people, love.
