Destiny and Respect
Some people would like to say that they would love to have a world in which everything is provided for them. Obviously, this sort of lifestyle would be much easier to live. I’m sure I would love a day where everything i need is provided for me when I want it, but I wouldn’t want to live my whole life this way. That’s why I would rather live in an imperfect world like the one I live in today. Life would be extremely bland if everything was given to me without me working for it. Imagine playing a sport or doing an activity you enjoy, and you always win regardless of how you play. Life is all about obstacle and challenges, and overcoming or conquering them is what makes life worth living. These “bumps” in the road of life test you, and if you go through, or survive, those “bumps” you become a stronger person. I rather be a stronger person. I do not want to have everything had to me because that creates weakness; it creates dependency. It would be a world that creates weak people who will no longer be able to survive on their own. What happens after being provided for for a long time and then we’re left on our own? We would be useless. When life throws you twists and curves, it’s reminding you’re alive. Life is allowing you to realize that although it can be very difficult, it’s helping you prepare for the future. Think of the kinds of responsibilities you had when you were an infant to an adult. It begins at crawling, then talking, then learning, and before you know it you will have to be keeping a job in order to pay taxes and support your family. Obviously the challenges steadily get more difficult. But, that’s is what makes life wonderful. If everything was provided for us, we would never move past that infantile stage! In short, living in a world where you receive anything you need isn’t really living at all. The imperfect world that we live in today is what makes our lives perfect, and although we may not always understand it, it’s always true.
