Coudn’t agree more. For a show that seems to pride itself on presenting the horrors of Rikers and the justice system in cringing detail, they couldn’t be farther from portraying what that actual trial would look like with any semblance of accuracy. From the clear inadmissibility to some of the testimony to what amounts to serious malpractice on the parts of Naz’ attorneys, this series seems unconcerned with getting anything right once Naz steps foot in the courtroom.
