I don’t think the average consumer is willing to pay £1700 for a faster/better purchasing experience. Fingerprint payment is already on it’s way to much more affordable Windows machines and if I’m not mistaken, Paypal has offered such a feature on certain phones since the Galaxy S5 came out last year.

Personally I think Apple has made a major fumble this year. Both the iPhone 7 and new Macbook pro are dissapointing and horribly expensive for what they offer. Really interested to see sales figures for both, if and when they are released.
