Back story on this photo…. I was out walking in the rain and talking pictures when I sought refuge under a tree as the rain got heavy. Photography was a new hobby taken up as recommended by my psychiatrist in thee attempts of helping the recovery process from a nervous breakdown.

Although the fact that I was finally allowed out on my own and was no longer considered Non Compos Mentis the memories of days leading up to and after this picture aren’t my own. Only recollections of stories as told to me by loved ones who were there during my journey.

It has been many moons since those unrecoverable 14 months were taken from my memory banks but the emptiness remains. Some days aren’t bad and some days you just want to stand under a tree in the rain hoping to get a good picture.
