Jobs lost will have economic impact. And the shift from poor to super rich (2-person mega companies) is actually the smallest problem as far as I see it:
The big issue is sociological. How do we get people to live in a world where only 10% of us have jobs? How does that make us happy?
Ownership does create happiness. And taking part in our society also does. A world we feel we can understand and impact also does. We are losing all that.
Aren’t we creating a world where only the 10% are better off?
I mean working less, and removing crappy jobs in favor of a universal basic income areall good things to me. But I’m scared of how people from the middle class and below will react.
