Talking about old times, Hyderabad was an Indian princely state located in the south-central region of India. The princely city is now the capital of the newly formed state of Telangana. The city, used to prominence due to its majestic castles and lavish lifestyles, lost some of its luster in the interim period when the princely states were outlawed and digitalization became a reality. The people of the city quickly jumped onto the digital bandwagon and created policies meant to appease the IT industries in hyderabad. Today, this culturally rich city, famous for the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Salar Jung Museum, amongst others give the city its old world charm. It also proudly wears the title of an IT hub and it goes without saying that businesses from established fashion brands to internet service providers are all setting up shop here.

The Economy of the City

For the millennial of today it may come as a surprise that the city of Hyderabad was always on the forefront of economic growth. Look at its palaces and buildings that were architectural marvels when constructed and still continue to attract thousands of tourists. The city was the seed of power, and the hub of economic activity that kept the state and its rulers prosperous. Today, the city has taken back what is rightly owns by setting up some of the best educational institutes of the country along with some of the most wanted professional jobs. Amazon and Google are just two names that simply aided the modernization of the city, which was ready to take back its right place in the states and the country’s economic growth.

The Modernization of the City

Since it was ruled by prosperous Nawabs, it should come as no surprise to anyone that the city was always the hub of modernization. Whether it was the latest fashions, fads, the newest means of construction, the technological marvel of travelling by cars or digitization to stay connected with the rest of the world in the blink of an eye, the city has always stayed a pace ahead in the race of modernization. Use of technology and availability of high-speed broadband offers in Hyderabad go hand in hand. Without the latter, technology cannot be utilized and without the latest technologies, modernization and digitalization just cannot co-exist.

All-in-all, it is easy to sum up and say that Hyderabad the city has always been modern and prosperous and it all began years ago. In the 21st century, modernization is complemented by the digital movement of the country. While the traditional palaces, lakes, gardens, and the famous Hyderabadi biryani continue to enchant people, it also boasts the best of products and technology based services.
