The class system in Project Hive
Good time of day, people 👋
In previous articles about Project Hive, we talked about such topics as:
(If you have not yet seen these articles, to understand the content of this article and the following, I strongly recommend reading past works. Thank you)
Let’s move on to the class system
The game has 4 archetypes of characters
Archetype — Basic Character Variant
- Bladerunner
- Bonebreaker
- Gunslinger
- Flatliner
The archetype you choose depends on the outcome of the battle and the outcome of your earnings because winning is awarded more tokens than losing.
There will also be 22 classes available, but since the game is still in beta test, we have only 4 classes available for review.
Joker
Joker belongs to the class Bladerunner
Empress
Empress as well as Joker belongs to the class Bladerunner
Tower
The tower belongs to the class Bonebreaker
Fortuna
Belongs to the Gunslinger class
Just as with archetypes, depending on which class you choose, the outcome of the battle depends, because each class has its own set of protocols. And we’ll talk about the protocols in the following articles.
You can change the class or archetype on the go, just by changing, because they are determined by the things you wear. This means that you can transform your characters into a completely different character. Everything depends on your imagination, but there are two ways:
- You can surprise your opponent by using different equipment and get a tactical advantage
- Equip your character with good things because they directly affect the attributes, and therefore affect the outcome of the battle.
Trappings
Project Hive has attributes as well as characters and things. The game itself has six main and eighteen secondary attributes.
Main attributes:
- Vitality
- Luck
- Endurance
- Strength
- Dexterity
- Intelligence
It is not yet fully clear how they will affect the game itself, and the secondary attributes aren´t clear.
