I’ve only begun to pay attention to Big Sean in the last couple of years. His verse on “Holy Key” is what grabbed my attention fully (anyone who handily it out-raps Kendrick is gonna make me sit up) And I enjoy the “Living Single” track but damn if this new album doesn’t sound like Drake-lite: A lot of whining about some girl/woman with whom there was a “complicated” relationship. It justs feels like an attempt at depth that rings hollow. I don’t like when I hear Drake do it, I damn sure don’t wanna great someone else rip off his style.
