This is the first Oscars handicapping I’ve seen that even mentions a film that’s not Made in America or 13th. So you really think the Academy would be so tone-deaf in the shadow of #OscarsSoWhite as to not honor one of those two films? Or, the unconventional distribution vehicles (ESPN and Netflix respectively) rub AMPAS the wrong way, then give votes to I Am Not Your Negro?
